i love to share guest posts from other little biz builders here on my blog. perhaps your biz is providing expertise to other biz builders. or perhaps you have some knowledge or expertise for an aspect of biz building that you could share with the readers here. there are certainly many areas of biz building that i don’t have enough time or information to write about, so please send me your guest post for consideration!
topics & content
you can submit a post on any topic, as long as has it truly helpful and actionable content (not just general fluff!) - i want my readers to walk away with a strategy or some advice they can try out right away.
if you have a topic in mind, please take the time to look around the site to see if it has been covered. i have at least 10 partners with different areas of expertise contributing regularly to this site already, so i am looking for new content above and beyond what has already been shared here.
here are some possible topic ideas that i am currently looking for:
- selling handmade items
- selling at markets, fairs & expos
- wholesaling products
- selling via an online marketplace: madeit, etsy etc.
- selling services or information
- getting products manufactured
- creative ideas marketing & promotion
- creative branding/packaging ideas
- sales strategies and tactics
format
- i have no limits for the length of the post, as long as the content is meaningful and helpful.
- to make it easy for readers to scan & absorb, a post should be written with the use of subtitle, short paragraphs (no more than 4 or 5 lines) and point form lists (where applicable).
- i am certainly not a stickler for grammar, but please edit your post carefully to ensure it flows and makes sense, and has no spelling errors.

- if you would like to include links to relevant resources or sites please hyperlink the text in your document.
- feel free to include a photograph or image with your post (they tend to add interest!) and a link to credit the source.
- at the end of your post please include the links to your own biz as well as a logo image or photograph of yourself. i will include your links in the guest post so people can visit your biz!
please email your guest post submission as an attached word or google doc. if the submission is accepted it will be placed in a cue for posting, and i will let you know of the posting date. please be aware that if it is accepted it may be edited before posting.
